
Storytelling, translations and pedagogy for teachers
Work Package 2 aims at creating compelling narratives around the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These stories will serve English language learners to deepen their knowlede on level B2. A set of reading comprehension tasks following the Socratic method will come with each story. Additionally, this work package is about developing a pedagogy and a self-study pack that offer teachers hands-on material for the use of the stories in English language teaching.
Visualisation of the content
Work Package 3 aims at visualising the 17 stories developed in WP2. Some stories will be elaborated as comics, some will be animated, following a visual scheme that will be applied to all stories. Additionally, the visual elements for the reading comprehension tasks will be developed as well as the visuals for the web-application.
Development of a web-based application including an AI agent
Work Package 4 focuses on developing a cross-platform mobile application accessible on both personal computers and mobile devices. It will contain the engaging visual narratives presented in the form of comics and animations inspired by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the reading comprehension tasks. Tasks will come with an AI-powered Intelligent Tutor acting as a personal learning companion.
Development of a Readco.ai Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)
Work Package 5 aims to develop a MOOC offering insights into the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and the developmental journey of the application. It will showcase examples of visualisation and present the application. After the project’s end, the MOOC will be available as a self-learning course. Participants may include language educators, students, language enthusiasts, and professionals interested in AI-driven language learning.
